A great new wellness resource for the community, aptly named “Urban Salt,” this new acupuncture clinic is here to provide a little stress and pain relief into our everyday busy lives. Set up as a non-profit clinic, the acupuncture is both extremely accessible price-wise AND very educational for first-time patients.

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese wellness method that involves placing tiny needles (that don’t hurt) into various points in the body to improve the flow of energy in the body. It can help a myriad of conditions, most commonly: head/neck/back pain, stress, digestion, migraines, dental pain, and other chronic pain.

Located near the traffic circle, this new clinic working out of a small medical building is set up as a 501C3 non-profit, which means their goal really is to provide acupuncture to everyone! With a suggested donation of $45, they accept amounts on a sliding scale and offer free clinics during regular “pop-up” events for those who want to sample before paying.
