Please join Steel Magnolias as they Run for the Roses on Sunday, April 28th, 2024, in Long Beach. This is a wonderful opportunity to have some Derby fun, dance, and enjoy great food and drink, all while helping raise funds for a great cause!

Steel Magnolias will be raising funds to support services provided by the Stramski Children’s Developmental Center to special needs children and the families that care for them. These funds help this multi-disciplinary center serve children with conditions such as cleft lip and palate, genetic and other birth defects, learning problems, developmental delays, and behavioral and neurodevelopmental problems including autism, attention deficit disorder, cerebral palsy, and fragile x syndrome.

Many of last year’s attendees said it was the most fun they have had at a fundraiser in years! Run for the Roses has a human horse race, best dressed and best hat contests.
