Wine on 2nd in Long Beach

Nestled into a strip mall on 2nd Street in Naples, Wine on 2nd is a cozy, family-owned wine bar boasting live music on weekends and over 40 rotating wines, all available by the glass. Owned by Belmont Shore residents and partners, Elena Shushkova and Teodor Todorov, Wine on 2nd brings a unique feel to the Long Beach wine scene, inspired by the immigrant stories of its owners.

Elena, a level 3 wine student Sommelier-in-training, explains her passion, “I wanted to introduce people in Long Beach more to the culture and wine-making of Old World wines. Everyone here in California is doing homegrown wines. Our wine list offers 50% U.S. and 50% Old World wines from small-batch wineries in countries like Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Portugal.”

In addition to wine by the glass or bottle, Wine on 2nd offers small bites and wine flights. They also host numerous events such as a pre-registered, wine-paired chef’s dinner; wine education classes; and of course, live music every weekend!
