Yes! There is a strawberry farm in Long Beach! Formerly Ramirez Strawberry Ranch, Leo Castellanos had worked here for about 7 years before he bought the farm from the Ramirez family. The strawberries are huge - perfect for dipping in chocolate or strawberry shortcake or straight into your mouth! Besides strawberries, they grow and sell seasonal produce all year: raspberries, blackberries, watermelon, fava beans, passion fruit, cabbage and more. Say "hi" to Leo and you might be lucky enough to get a tour of his farm. He is proud to say that he uses no pesticides, and his love for his farm exudes from him.
