“SMOOTH SAILING”

Lorna and Mark met at Leeway Sailing Center in Long Beach where Mark taught one of the adult sailing classes that Lorna just so happened to sign up for. As they got to know each other, they started to race his sailboat together. Their connection grew stronger, and they fell in love.

Mark had moved to Long Beach as a senior in high school and immediately loved the food, culture, and sailing, as a member of the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club. Lorna moved to Long Beach to join Mark prior to their wedding. When the two aren’t sailing, they can often be found line dancing at either the Gaslamp or Cowboy Country.
