District Wine Bar in Long Beach, A Great Place to Lounge

District Wine

By John Grossi

District Wine is more of a lounge than your typical wine bar. In addition to a bar counter, there are couches and lounging areas, cocktail tables, and outdoor seating. District Wine can accommodate over 100 guests between its indoor and outdoor areas, making it the biggest wine bar in town!

District Wine offers flights and tastings every day, as well as an extensive wine-by-the-glass list, craft beer, and wine-based cocktails. All paired with a tapas menu featuring flatbread pizzas, shrimp ceviche, tapenades, charcuterie and cheese plates, and more! Celebrating her 12th year in business, owner Angela Mesna describes District Wine as a neighborhood spot that is “the extension of its patrons’ living rooms.”

“We’re not a restaurant where you’re pressured to order food, and we’re not a loud bar. You can get a glass of wine with your friends and talk and drink and not feel like you’re on the clock with a server or worried that the late crowd will get too loud and crowded.”

District Wine is open until 9pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends!
