CALLING ALL WILSON ALUM TO SUPPORT GRAD NITE 2025

By John Grossi

Hey former Bruins!

Do you recall that last cherished memory on Wilson’s campus, with all your friends and classmates together celebrating the end of senior year?

Wilson High School’s Grad Nite is a 30-year-old tradition, and historically, one of the most anticipated and popular activities associated with senior year. It’s after finals, doesn’t have the pressure associated with Prom, and represents the last chance for an entire class to hang out together with a big party on campus.

Call For Help

One of the reasons Grad Nite is so fun, is because the volunteer faculty and parents go ALL OUT transforming the quad into a carnival-like land full of activities in every direction. The challenge, however, is that, with everything they bring in, the night becomes very costly, even with the free labor from the many volunteers that make it happen.

Students traditionally buy tickets to offset cost, but with 60% of the current 700+ seniors classified as socio-economically disadvantaged, the Grad Nite Committee is asking their alumni in Long Beach to help offset costs with a small donation.

By scanning the QR code above, you can donate in a number of ways, including “sending a senior” in need to Grad Nite for just $50! All donations are tax deductible and directly lower the cost per ticket for seniors in need.

Please scan the QR code or follow @wilsongradnite2025 on Instagram for other fundraising opportunities around town this spring, and thank you in advance for contributing to the continuation of this Wilson High School send-off tradition!
