Ola (Spanish for ocean wave] Mexican Kitchen is always ready with a good drink. Sit on the patio terrace overlooking the marina with one of their signature margaritas: the popular El Dragón, a spicy/sweet margarita made with watermelon and jalapeño, or Abreojos (eye opener), a refreshingly spicy drink with cucumber and jalapeño. While Ola serves up classic cocktails (including more than 50 tequilas - ask about their Margarita of the Month.) sister bar next door, Palapa, has its own menu serving specialty craft recipes. Sit at the outdoor bar or around the fire pit sipping on a frozen mango margarita.

Many nights, you'll find the place jumping with music and dancing! Try their Watermelon & Cucumber Margarita, made with blue agave and their house citrus. Or go classic with a Cadillac Margarita, or a Jalapeno Margarita made with their house citrus and muddled jalapeño. Before you know it, you'Il be ready to share a pitcher of their Agaves Rita with the dance floor.

Lola's has two LB locations serving up delicious family recipes, as we as unique margarita flavors. Try La Catrina margarita, made with strawberry and rhubarb bitters, or their noche de Pasion, made with almond orgeat, passionfruit, and spicy bitters. And if you're wondering, yes, they have a Spicy Watermelon Margarita, made with a jalapeno watermelon puree. Delicioso!

Sugar Taco

500 W. Broadway, 90802

sugartaco.com | @sugartaco

A fairly newcomer to Long Beach, Sugar Taco is on a mission to save the world and our health, one taco at a time. This all-plant based restaurant not only offers beautiful and yummy traditional plates, but refreshing margaritas using vegan products as well. Try their popular strawberry margarita on Margarita Monday with their 'carnitas' taco. Salud!
