The Aurora Theater / My Acting Studio

When you pass through the doors into The Aurora Theater, you are quickly transported into another era - the 1940’s to be exact. An intimate, elegant theater that is welcoming and warm, it feels like a sanctuary for the arts. Charles, the owner, named the theater after his mother and it has housed many different types of events: weddings, TED Talks, movie screenings (with its state-of-the-art 16-foot projection and sound system), meetings, and of course, jazz, opera, plays and improv.
At My Acting Studio, Charles has worked hard to provide a community-oriented, inclusive environment to all who enter. He hosts classes for actors ages 5-95 years of age. Classes include improv, stand-up comedy, talent management and acting workshops. Also, he provides services such as head shots, demo reels, video production and presentation coaching.
As for myself, I’m just trying to figure out what event I want to throw so I can rent the theater.
