Long Beach’s most played 18 hole par 72 course, “Big Rec” also has a 16-stall driving range with night lighting. To refine your short game, they have two full-size putting greens, several chipping areas, and three practice bunkers.
El Dorado Park Golf Course

El Dorado is an 18 hole par 72 course. Site of the Long Beach Open, this is a magnificent course with lush landscapes, beautiful trees and numerous water hazards. Extensive practice facilities include chipping greens practice greens and bunkers and driving range are available.

Where else can you watch a private plane fly overhead as you approach the green? This 18 hole par 72 course is a challenging course with 70 sand traps. Skylinks is one of the hosts of the Long Beach Open and is a favorite for those visiting or staying near the Long Beach Airport. Their driving range is night-lit 7 days a week.

Here you’ll find 18 holes of par 3 golf. It’s a great course for beginners and experienced players who want to work on the irons. Tiger Woods got his start here! Numerous PGA and LPGA professionals are on-site for instruction,. Junior classes and camps are also available, and extensive practice facilities are open until 10:00 p.m. daily except Mondays which closes at 5:30 p.m. The course is lit for convenient after-work and nighttime play. Heartwell also has the largest driving range in Long Beach.

This 9 hole executive course features par 3 and par 4 holes. Fun and not too time consuming. The driving range is across 7th Street at “Big Rec.”
DISC GOLF

Disc golf is a perfect way to spend your day in the park. There’s nothing like a casual stroll through the park while tossing discs with some friends. The holes are set up throughout the park so you also get a nice tour of what El Dorado has to offer. This sport is suited for all ages, all you have to know is how to throw a frisbee. Getting started is super simple, all you have to do is pick up some discs and start your game!
If you do not have your own equipment, you can rent from the Tennis Shack for just a few dollars. Otherwise, they have a large selection of discs to choose from if you’re looking to pick up a new hobby.
