Canned foods aren’t just for taking up space in your pantry anymore. Gather the family and head on down to the Landmark Building where teams of local architectural and engineering firms will transform thousands of canned food into enormous artistic masterpieces. Using the theme “The CANdy Store” participants may build structures up to 10’x10’x10.’ Visitors are encouraged to bring canned goods to be used as “votes” for their favorite structure resulting in a “People’s Choice” award.” The canned food will then be donated to Food Finders. Use this event to get your little ones excited about engineering and to talk about casting a vote! Learn More: https://www.canstructionlongbeach.org/
