The Poly Jackrabbits have had a stranglehold on Moore League football for decades. The last Moore League team to beat them was Millikan in 2009. Can the Rams do it again?

This could be the biggest game in the city this year – a defensive slugfest for Moore League supremacy.

The Guidance Center will host its 8th annual Sunset Sip: Be the Hero of Your Own Story, at the Hotel Maya. Every year, friends and supporters of The Guidance Center come together to raise funds to support critical mental health services for our community’s children and families. Join for a memorable evening!

The evening will consist of wine tasting, delicious food, a silent and live auction, wine pull, interactive experiences, a photo booth pop-up, and much more!

California Coastal Cleanup Day 2018

Saturday, September 15 | 9:00am-12:00pm

El Dorado Nature Center is partnering with the California Coastal Commission to coordinate five cleanup sites in Long Beach. The site captains are the Aquarium of the Pacific, Seal Beach Yacht Club, Long Beach Marine Institute, and Clean LB.

As a community, we can make a positive impact on the health of our local coastline. So make sure to participate in this great collaborative event.

14th Annual Japanese Classic Car Show

Saturday, September 15 | 9:00am-3:00pm

Marina Green Park (386 E. Shoreline Dr.)

The epicenter of the Japanese classic-car movement is Long Beach’s Japanese Classic Car Show. Every year, car owners and participants raise their game, making each event better than the rest. The show's new location of Marina Green Park allows for more cars and more fun.

The Butterfly Walk/Run & Flutter

Participate in this 5k Fun Walk/Run at Shoreline Aquatic Park on Saturday, Sept. 15. This event, which is held in various cities throughout the country, helps benefit children's hospice and palliative care.
