The Greekfest is Labor-Day tradition in Long Beach and fun for the whole family. Think of your favorite carnival and add a "Big Fat Greek" twist! Catch a ride from one of the many shuttle locations at the CSULB campus for a no stress arrival to the event. Guests will be emersed in sites and sounds of a culture with a deep history and beautiful traditions. While at the event be sure to try the chicken dinner plate, work up the nerve to learn a new dance and, if you’re of age, try a shot of Ouzo. Opa!

New Blues Festival Long Beach California

Groove to the sweet sounds of Blues under the canopy of our very own El Dorado Nature Center trees. The New Blues Festival is a two-day event celebrating a genre that dates back to the late 19th century. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for a full day of music, food, and local vendors.

Surfrider Beach Clean Up

Kick the 3-day weekend off with a good deed by heading down to the beach for an hour of clean-up. Many factors contribute to trash washing up on our shores and we can do something about it. Gloves, bags and parking passes will be available for everyone participating in the clean up efforts. Join neighbors and friends of our local community to take part in improving our city and its shore.

Littlepalooza Family Festival

This is a music festival fit for the whole family. Littles and their adults will not only enjoy lively music by local artists but they will also enjoy activities like face painting, flower crowns, bounce houses, storytimes, yoga, a baby soft play area and more. There is so much to do that we’re guessing lines won’t be too long for each activity. The festival also has a ton of kid-friendly sponsors, including local small businesses, with lots to giveaway and share. Join Long Beach Littles this Monday and enjoy family entertainment for hours.
