Big Bang on the Bay Block Party

Begin your Fourth of July festivities a day early at the Big Bang on the Bay Block Party on July 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A purchase of one ticket includes dinner from Naples Rib Joint, a viewing of vintage aircraft flyovers and skydivers, and a viewing of fireworks exploding over Alamitos Bay! Great American 4th of July Kids Bike Parade

A nice bike ride never hurt anyone, especially when you become part of the parade! The parade starts in front of Rosie’s Dog Beach at 10 p.m. on Granada Avenue and heads east on the bike path, ending at Bay Shore Drive. Prior to the parade, more events for the family can be found including a kids’ patriotic speech and a patriotic costume contest! It is completely free to join the fun; however, registration is required through the event’s website.

BBQ & Fireworks View 2018 @ the Aquarium of the Pacific

Looking to change up your fireworks view this year? Celebrate Independence Day with the “red, white, and blue fish” at the Aquarium of the Pacific. The overall event begins at 5 p.m., and seating begins at 6 p.m. for when barbecue will be provided. Pier Pressure Long Beach Fireworks Cruise

Tired of watching fireworks from on land? Catalina Classic Cruises is here to help with its Pier Pressure Long Beach Fireworks Cruise from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. For the past seven years, Catalina Classic Cruises has offered this opportunity for patrons to enjoy two live DJs on three impressive decks while watching the Queen Mary’s famous fireworks. Queen Mary Celebration & Fireworks

Back again for another year, the Queen Mary invites everyone to view its very own fireworks display on the historical shop. You and your family can either relax or participate in one of the many activities that are planned, such as historical tours and arts and crafts! The event is from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and general admission is $44 for adults and $24 for children.
