On May 19, an explosion of Pinoy culture overtook Silverado Park as the very first Long Beach Filipino Festival was held.

Long Beach 908 caught up with the festival's executive director, Anthony Formoso, and the head of the marketing committee, Kat Engel, to discuss their experience with the festival and the importance of celebrating one's heritage.
