 Yee haw! It's time for the 5th Annual Long Beach County Fair, First Fridays style! Enjoy a night out with the family strolling the exuberant streets of Long Beach.  Stop for a hula hoop party or watch as your little ones enjoy painting with fruits and veggies or boogie to DJs and live music. Try out a new restaurant and enjoy extended business hours at any of the locally-owned retail space along Atlantic Avenue.  This is definitely a must-do First Friday outing.

Creation Station

 Getting creative with local history is what this creation station family event is all about! Brilliant Blue is the theme color for April, and the museum will be providing a range of artists' materials in blue hues for children to experiment with old-fashioned arts and crafts. This is a free and fun mid-day activity to enjoy just before or after lunch. See you there!

Formula Drift and Auto Con

 With racing events leading up to the Toyota Grand Prix, Formula Drift is a high energy look into the world of racing and… well, drifting. Long Beach is the first stop of a 2018 world competition for these drifters and they are eager to become the season’s first winners. Watch with excitement as supped-up cars whiz along the Ocean Boulevard racetrack. Kids will enjoy high-energy drifting and will have an opportunity to see similar cars up close at the Auto Con showroom. Check out the link for tickets and show schedule.

Jazz Festival and Spring Celebration

 Be inspired by the complex sounds and rich culture of jazz as you celebrate a fun spring season! This festival features talented local ensembles, art workshops for all ages, interactive activities, a story time for the kiddos, gallery tours and much more.
