Rental Fun At Alamitos Bay

As the weather warms up, more people head to the bay for some fun. If you’re anything like me, all you need is to sit in the shade, toes in the sand, eyes on the kids, and a book in hand. But for those wanting a bit of adventure, check out some of these fun rentals.
Kayaks & Stand-Up Paddle Boards
Down at Bayshore Beach, near what is locally known as Horny Corner, Kayaks On The Water rents both kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Kayak rentals are a great option for families, as they allow minors, even small children, to participate when in a two-person kayak with an adult, so long as the minor can swim. The kayaks rent for $12 per hour, per person.
Paddle boards, however, require the swimmer to be at least 13 years old. The $25 per hour includes instruction if needed before the full hour begins.
Both are great options for some fun in the sun and water. There are various routes you can take around Naples canals and waterways around the bay. Both also provide an excellent workout. Your arms will be burning by the end of the hour!

Scooters aren’t just a fun and easy way to get around town, they’re a great way to avoid p parking problems down by the bay! Find a low impact parking area within a few miles of the bay and scooter on down! It’s fast, easy, and cheap!
